I remember that time I was at a cafe I and I went to add sugar to my latte and I asked if it was Pamela Cane Sugar. They didn’t have an answer for me. Fine. My go-to backup is Royal cinnamon. Not some sort of plebe cinnamon for the royal subjects. Let them eat cake…with that crap on it. Nope. Didn’t have that either. I took my business elsewhere.
Then this other time I was at my buddy’s barbecue and he started salting the burgers on the grill and I was like “Hooold up, Buddy. Slow your roll. Is that sea salt wind-blown?” He stared kind of dumbly at me so i said “let me have a taste.”
Sure enough, it was a kind of stationary, not well-traveled salt, by air nor sea. I’ll not stand for that. So I left.
I’m glad this product checks all the boxes. The idea of using sugar from — I don’t know — Toledo, aint happening. And don’t invite me over if you’re gonna serve vanilla that did not come from…Nyanza. You’d be dead to me.
